Two
huge statues of Rameses II that stand behind the bar were
made by the chief modelmaker of Pinewood Studios. Large
Eygptian murals run the length of the walls. Egyptian hieroglyph
designs produced by handcut pattern presses transform the
original bank pillars. Special touches bring both character
and atmosphere alive in the detail: gold cobra newel posts
at the foot of the main staircase,

long granite bar counter and bar front design. All
of this combines to create a unique environment in
the heart of Brighton in which to unwind and entertain.
The creation of this interior by Sally Singer Designs
was the result of a large team effort bringing together
individual craftspeople. |
